PARENT GROUPS

The Parent group sessions are in direct response to parents, local schools, and community service providers strong interest for culturally informed parenting education to differentiate between normal teen functioning, risk factors, and mental health, while providing skills building exercises to manage teen’s concerning behaviors.
Parent group sessions are opportunities, for many parents who feel isolated and stressed to establish comadre and compadre circles of support, a forum to discuss issues and concerns, and to build community.
